Design Partner: Toko. Concept. Design.
A creative program’s visual language is more than a graphic identity or a title treatment. As a concept it needs to speak beyond immediate visual elements and permeate all aspects of the program. It was this concept that Toko. Concept. Design. brought to the table as Design Partner.
Founded by Eva Dijkstra and Michael Lugmayr in the Netherlands in 2002 before relocating to Sydney in 2006, Toko have worked in Australia on projects including the Love Lace exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum, the Ten Days on the Island Festival in Tasmania and with the curators of the Australian Pavilion for the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale.
In the months leading up to CUSP, Toko has worked closely with all partners in the program to see
their vision of a visual language come alive in all areas of the creative program.
